Movie Stars and Shooting Stars, or foot and fist fighting arse kickers…
    
We had a movie star grace our company the other day in a sleepy suburb west of Sydney.
Jeff Speakman has made a few films; I remember watching one or two at the cinema.
“The Perfect Weapon”... no gun, no knife, no equal… just try him!
Do you remember the Martial Arts films of the last twenty years..? Van Dam, Seagal, Norris, Chan and of course the great Bruce Lee.
Jeff Speakman is no shrinking violet after quite a few films, I can’t say that I’ve watched all of them but I really liked “The Perfect Weapon” while I always enjoy a cool Karate film having spent many years dabbling in a few of the Martial Arts regimes myself, way before I became a hopeless alcoholic.
Meeting Jeff at my mate Tony’s fitness centre “Bodyworks Life” in Bossley Park within the Marconi Club’s grounds was pretty cool while being able to take a few snapshots was even better than an autograph.
Jeff seemed a regular kinda guy, we had a laugh.
Jeff got there with the help of Greg McAuliffe a seasoned international master of Kenpo himself who will soon have a Dojo at Tony’s fitness centre where he’ll offer training at the highest level.
